About the Journal

The Carolina Journal of Interdisciplinary Medicine (CJIM) is a student-led journal produced by graduate health science students at the University of North Carolina. Content and scope are intentionally broad. CJIM endeavors to support dissemination of student scholarship and train future health professionals in critical appraisal. We embrace the digital publishing format and remain committed to open access principles.

Students are responsible for peer review, editing, and all productions of CJIM. Faculty provide guidance and oversight. CJIM is supported by generous contributions from the UNC Health Foundation and the UNC School of Medicine Office of Student Affairs.
